Milt Nodacker was first licensed as WN7TFE (Novice class) in the spring of 1972. In 1973 he received his Advanced class license as WA7TFE. He had experience teaching ham radio classes in Idaho prior to moving to the island of Hawaii (Big Island) in 2010. He is now licensed with the Amateur Extra class Hawaiian callsign AH6I.

Since moving to Hawaii Milt has been very active in emergency communications and became an ARRL District Emergency Coordinator for the East Hawaii Island District to assist groups planning and practicing emergency communication. He is very active in training new hams on Hawaii and volunteered to setup this experiment in remote training using Internet.
